Ambitions
As we work to solve global challenges, we are also making progress towards our approach to sustainability, internally. Together, we are working towards five sustainability ambitions.
Calix is committed to reducing our GHG emissions in line with the Paris Agreement to avoid the most severe impact of climate change.
Our FY24 footprint will serve as the baseline for which we will set our emissions reduction target.
Enhanced training and coordination with the introduction of the learning platform. Calix uses industry best practices to inform continual improvements to our approach to safety management.
Released our first Supplier Code of Conduct—A shared purpose—that outlines the shared responsibilities and ethical expectations of our suppliers.
This award reflects the potential of Calix’s technology to deliver an industry-wide, low cost solution to produce green iron and steel.
Every application of Calix’s core platform technology is designed to address a specific global challenge consistent with our purpose, values, and company ethos, present opportunities for shared value creation and economic growth, and deliver sustainable competitive advantage.
Since 2020, Calix has been a participant of the United Nations Global Compact and its principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Calix’s innovation, development and partnerships are aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We create shared value through the application of our core technology platform.
As a company signatory of the 40:40 Vision, Calix aims to achieve gender balance in its executive leadership by 2030.
Calix is committed, alongside the University of New South Wales and other industry Pact Partners, to defining and measuring the real-world impact of science.
